PURPOSE OF THIS SURVEY

This survey is being conducted by RxPad Health Tech before any product is built. We want to understand the real challenges Indian private practitioners face — around prescribing, regulatory compliance, and CPD credit accumulation — so that what we build is shaped by your reality, not our assumptions.

This is anonymous. No pharma company has funded it. No medical association has commissioned it. It is a direct conversation between us and you.

SECTION B - REGULATORY PULSE — NMC CPD & UCPMP

5. The NMC Regulations 2023 (Gazette, 2 August 2023) make 30 CPD credits mandatory for every registered doctor every 5 years — failing which the licence cannot be renewed. Were you aware of this? This applies to all Registered Medical Practitioners across India — in private practice, hospitals, and teaching institutions.

8. NMC Regulation 35 states that CPD activities involving direct or indirect pharmaceutical company sponsorship may not qualify for NMC- valid credits. Did you know this? This means pharma-sponsored CME symposia and conferences may not count toward your mandatory 30 credits.

9. UCPMP 2024 (effective March 2024) explicitly prohibits pharmaceutical companies from providing branded prescription pads to doctors. How does learning this affect you? The UCPMP 2024 is issued by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India, and applies nationwide.

Imagine completing it between patients, during lunch, or on your commute — with no Zoom link, no fixed time, no internet needed at the time of reading. 1 = Not Valuable at all - 2 = Extremely valuable

11. How often do pharmacies or patients come back to you with questions because a prescription was unclear or misread? Be honest — even 'rarely' is important data for us.
